I want this. Just so I can roll it in my hands and have the suckers stick to my nails.
I started out clicking strategically… and by the end was just wildly clicking and dancing in my chair.
CLICK THE SQUARES.
THE WHOLE WORLD NEEDS TO KNOW ABOUT THIS.
THIS THIS THIS THIS!

Twilight? Really people? and no Great Gatsby?
Word Cloud of the Day: Information beautifier David McCandless sifted through several authoritative top 100 must-read book lists and polls [googledoc] to put together a “consensus-cloud” showing which titles were mentioned most often.

I love this… makes me want to start a new photo-project…
Why not get together with friends and make a human graffiti wall?
(BTW, we love that Totoro on the 2nd arm up from the bottom.)

Brand spankin’ new photography website by me!
Well.. brand-new-ish… Enjoy and pass the word!
This is quite possibly one of the most moving logos/posters I have ever seen. Well done designer somewhere.
I find myself entirely baffled by the strength and support coming out of the woodworks for Japan in this time of need. Maybe not baffled… but amazed perhaps. It is both poetic and tragic that the world can only unite over tragedies and war. Oh well… at least we can unite over something.
I am trying to find the best charities to donate to (if you are my friend, beware, you’re about to be hit up soon). But in the meantime, click on the link because hopefully the Huff Post has done their research and it isn’t going into board member’s duty free shopping accounts while they’re swanning around the world in private planes.
Can I say how amazing the Japanese people are? My family and friends would hear about it all the time from me, but seeing the footage of people waiting for three days in a queue for the only supermarket in town after not having eaten in as long with not a single push or shove, or water being shared equally in a makeshift school evacuation centre, it fills me with so much pride and inspiration as to how human beings should/can/could behave.
The poster is from here http://signalnoise.bigcartel.com/product/help-japan (but they have since sold out).
Please don’t just watch the news and say “how terrible”, do something!
I’m working on an awesome show in NYC called Trailer Trash.
It runs November 11th through 21st!
After a week of strange house guest mishaps, restless tossing, and general headaches and finally ending out feeling like a pretty large sack of useless asshole… This email was a nice treat. Enjoy.
People come into your life for a reason, a season or a lifetime.
When you know which one it is, you will know what to do for that person…
When someone is in your life for a REASON, it is usually to meet a need you have expressed.
They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support, To aid you physically, emotionally or spiritually.
They are there for the reason you need them to be.
Then, without any wrongdoing on your part or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end.
Sometimes they die.
Sometimes they walk away.
Sometimes they act up and force you to take a stand.
What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled, their work is done and now it is time to move on.
Some people come into your life for a SEASON, because your turn has come to share, grow or learn.
They bring you an experience of peace or make you laugh.
They may teach you something you have never done.
They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy.
Believe it, it is real. But only for a season.
LIFETIME relationships teach you lifetime lessons, things you must build upon in order to have a solid emotional foundation.
Your job is to accept the lesson, love the person and put what you have learned to use in all other relationships and areas of your life.
It is said that love is blind but friendship is clairvoyant.
Thank you for being a part of my life,
whether you were a reason,
a season
or a lifetime.
-Thanks Roomie
